We have been so lucky with great weather. Two visits to Harris with the spectacular beaches. Walked around the Butt of Lewis and did the circular walk taking in Bosta Beach. Had a great twin hour rib trip. Lucky to have seen a few white tailed eagles, seals, lots of birds, deer and dolphins at the Bernera Bridge!

Thank you for sharing your family home - a real sense of continuity down the generations! We appreciated the welcome basket and you really have thought of everything. The maps and guides gave us lot of ideas and the area completely surpassed our expectations.
We loved exploring Bosta, Uig, Mealasta and drove down to Harris for a day. The exceptional spell of good weather made our time here very memorable and we will return home relaxed and suntanned.

We did several lovely walks, including Bosta beach and coast, the Eagle observatory and the Gearranan circular walk. Too much to write about here, but we loved every day. Also enjoyed a visit to the Harris Distillery.

What a fabulous stay this has been - I don't want to leave! The cottage is perfect - I didn't want for anything, except maybe another week 😁. By weeks end I felt as if I was coming 'home' every time I crossed the bridge. Beautiful scenery, quiet solitude, and the rainbow over the loch tonight was simply magical. Amazing property for a relaxing get a way from it all type holiday. Exactly what we needed. The house is unique and to a very high standard. The Western Isles has a special kind of beauty which is good for the soul. Lots of beautiful scenery and nice walks and when you want some quiet time to curl up with a book and nice glass of wine this is the perfect place to be.
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was excellent and the welcome hamper was appreciated. We had the perfect host who offered information and great communication. We would come again to explore Lewis and Harris and particularly liked the beautiful beaches. A relaxing break.

Super house in a fantastic, quiet location! The owners have done a superb job creating a very comfortable home for your holidays. I especially liked the sunroom at the end of the building which has views towards Callanish. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the Western Isles
